The Club is operated under the supervision of the Board of Governors elected by the general membership. Four members of the board form an Executive Committee with various assignments as stipulated in the bylaws. The board mainly functions as a policy-making body and defers the implementation to a professional manager who carries out these policies with the help of a support staff. The board mainly appoints a number of member committees to plan club events. The board may appoint other committees at its discretion for specific tasks. Active members are encouraged to become involved with the committees to plan functions that may appeal to a large segment of membership.
